The following events are the ones which I have confirmed my attendance at.

The ING New York Marathon

Taking place on Sunday 4th November, the NYC Marathon is a 26.2 mile run around The Big Apple.  This will be my first ever marathon and I am very much looking forward to it.  This event is in aid of Cancer Research UK.

The 2008 India Ladakh Trek

Trekking around the furthermost northern territory of India, including my second climb to the height of 4500metres.  This will be my third International Challenge Trek, and this time I will be joined by Sheena which will, if nothing else, ensure that there is someone there who will listen to me rabbit on and means I will not have to share my tent with a deluded man who thinks he is Yoda (hi Dave).  This event is in aid of Maggie's Centres for Cancer Care
